A high
performance coastal touring & rough water sea kayak
The Tiderace Xcite is
designed as a fast yet maneuverable costal touring kayak. At
home playing in rough water, equally comfortable carving turns
through rock gardens, the Xcite has ample storage for week long
trips. It's high stability and quick turning response make this
boat a joy for those paddlers looking to improve their skills
and take on advanced conditions.
The Tiderace Xcite is suited for paddlers ranging
between 5' 5" and 6' 2", and weighing up to
16stone. It may be used as a 'day boat' by taller /
heavier paddlers.

| Small,
high performance coastal touring & and rough water sea kayak
The Tiderace Xcite designed for the smaller paddler.
Length: 16'6" Width:

32.5" x 18"
The
boat has a new style of Kajaksport hatch cover – lighter and
stiffer than the older version. I was skeptical at first, but in
use they snap on more easily than the older, fully rubberized
version. And yes they were water tight after bracing, edging and
three eskimo rolls. The 2nd "day hatch" in front of
the cockpit is small but could hold a radio, snack bar or small
flare. All hatch covers come tethered to fiberglass grommets
inside the compartments – very nice.
And finally ladies and gentlemen, a
kayak that fits the smaller paddler. Not a small boat with a
large cockpit, but a small, snug boat with a small, snug cockpit
to go with it. The ladies will finally get to experience thigh
braces rather than knee braces.
The Tiderace Xcite S is true 'park and play' sea kayak with enough
cargo space to 'play and stay'.

| Fast
expedition sea kayak for extended trips
The Tiderace Xplore is uncompromising in performance,
the ultimate balance between load carrying, speed and
seaworthiness. It's computer honed hull shape squeezes away
residual drag, making this the leanest touring kayak in the
Tiderace range. This kayak is capable of multi-week expeditions
in the toughest conditions. Seaworthiness is paramount in such
situations, and this hull incorporates the latest features of an
Aled Williams design.

"The
build quality is totally on par with the best boats I have seen
made in 15 years. It is well finished outside and inside,
reinforced in all the right places. I especially like The small
skeg box, and the small extra compartment in front of the
cockpit, Since I want it to be a 3-5 day boat as well as a play boat,
I specially liked the Roominess in the cockpit for my 34"
inseam legs and size 12 feet." - Tiderace paddler
